'Wide Sargasso Sea' - book cover ceramic mug

For this mug design, I’m exploring the intricate story of 'Wide Sargasso Sea',  by Jean Rhys, a prequel to 'Jane Eyre' that examines the life of Bertha, Mr. Rochester’s wife. Set in Jamaica during the 1830s, this work portrays Antoinette Cosway, a white Creole heiress, as she navigates her turbulent journey from the Caribbean to England.
