With this book cover, I aimed to interpret Haruki Murakami’s extraordinary narrative. I have depicted a figure deep in thought, embodying the essence of Toru Okada as he interacts with a whimsical bird. The bird symbolises the mysteries that unfold throughout his journey, involving themes of identity, loss, and the search for meaning — a daily struggle for most of us, I’d imagine.
