This print is a pared-back study of snow, light and line across the Vale of Pickering. I kept the composition simple: pale blue sky, rolling white fields and a ribbon-like fence that guides the eye through bare trees and hedgerows. The texture and soft contours are meant to convey winter’s stillness rather than spectacle.
