The Temple of Apollo in Corinth, built around 560 B.C.E., is one of the earliest and most significant Doric temples in Greece, notable for its 6x15 column layout and imposing structure. Though a large portion is in ruins, seven of its original 42 monolithic limestone columns are still standing today. Located north of Acrocorinth on Temple Hill, the temple was a major religious and cultural landmark that was later renovated by the Romans and saw other structures built on or around its site during the Byzantine and Ottoman eras
