This print started from a windy autumn afternoon on the beach at Hornsea. I used fragmented forms to convey the restless movement of the waves while the sky, lit by indirect, golden cloud-reflected light, sits quietly above.
My focus was on how shifting planes of light and shadow can define motion and space without literal detail.
