Completed during the 15th century, the Minster’s west front is renowned for its beautifully proportioned twin towers, soaring traceried windows, intricate stone carvings and richly decorated entrance. Its harmonious design is considered a masterpiece of medieval English architecture and is said to have influenced the design of Westminster Abbey’s western towers.

Founded on a site associated with St John of Beverley, the Minster has stood at the heart of this historic East Yorkshire market town for centuries.
