This image came from one of those moments that still appear almost unbelievable. After spending a night under canvas deep in the Yarra Ranges to the East of Melbourne, Australia, we emerged into a mist that was beginning to burn away under the rising sun. And there, standing proudly, less than 100m away, was a white horse. For a few seconds, it remained, unconcerned, and then walked away back into the forest.
