St Pancras Station
The St Pancras railway station's roof, designed by William Henry Barlow in 1868, is a remarkable engineering feat. It is the largest single-span roof in the world, spanning 243 feet wide, 689 feet long, and reaching 100 feet at its highest point. During the station's redevelopment for St Pancras International, the roof was carefully restored, preserving its historic design while integrating modern elements, making it an iconic part of London's railway heritage.
