Hedda Elstad

Hedda was a Swedish architect based in Stockholm. This image is based on a photograph I took of her in 1991 at a summer residence on the island of Orno. We used her father’s old Hasselblad camera. It was one of the best photos I’ve ever taken. Very sadly, she died in 2003 at the age of 42.
